Why I'm Here

I wouldn't have been able to get to this point in my racing career without the help and support from my family, friends, and sponsors. I have been going to Silver Spring Speedway since I was eight months old with my Father, who would take me when he had me for the weekend. In 2001 I became a crew member for Skip Findley's Sportsman and Carmen Caltabiano's Steet Stock. In 2003, my friend, Brian Hauenstein, came out of retirement, and I came aboard as crewman for his #25H Street Stock. We struggled for the next two years with no wins. However, as a crewmember from 2005 thru 2007 I have celebrated seven wins with Brian, with the 2006 SSP Track Championship as a highlight of my crew career. Weeks prior to the 2007 season, I purchased an '86 Monte Carlo, painted it black (to match Brian’s), and painted a 52 on the side (25 backwards). The rest is ongoing history. Thanks to everyone who helped along the way, this really has become a dream come true.
